Courtney Brophy, LMT, NCTMB, RYT
Courtney is owner of A Divine Journey Yoga and is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher and licensed massage therapist who has taught hundreds of classes throughout St. Louis metro area at studios such as Marbles Yoga Studio in Lafayette Square and Ballys Total Fitness. Her training has included many known yogis/yoginis, including Saul David Raye and Rod Stryker. Courtney inspires and challenges her students through a variety of styles of yoga including Vinyasa Flow, Hot Yoga, Hatha, Restorative Yoga. As a massage therapist and graduate of Healing Arts Center in St. Louis Missouri, Courtney integrates energy work along with her knowledge of the human body into her teaching. She is also a Reiki practioner, and Pranic healer.
Ashley Pitzer, RYT
Ashley desires to share her love of yoga, create positive thinking within her students, and offer healing through the mind body connection which helps to purify the emotional body and rid the body of stress. Her philosophy is to customize yoga classes to meet the needs of her students and to inspire her students to take that challenge that is slightly outside of their boundaries. Thereby, helping them to grow and reach new levels. Her Vinyasa (flow) style blends yoga postures with more modern music and she brings a sense of playfulness to her class all while encouraging everyone to honor their bodies and work within their limitations. Ashley received her training as a yoga teacher in the 200 hour Multi-Style Yoga Program at Bentley Park Studio. She has 2 young daughters who are both special needs in differing ways. Yoga has helped Ashley deal with the struggles of raising her children and it has also helped her overcome many of the challenges before her.
